It’s the second night I’ve slept on Sonny’s porch, outside, with Phoenix the pit bull Labrador mix. She’s my new pal visa-versa. It amuses me how when I’m here she refuses to go inside – were a couple dirty dogs, why would we want to do such a thing after all. I sometimes feel lonely with everyone inside coupled up and bubbled in from the elements. But hell, although at times I feel this way I am satisfied to know that I will always wake with myself, the sun included. That for me is enough to smile, the love for myself keeps me going while the road guides my way. Here I come N.A.
